Pro-Ad works with SSE for the Promotion of their Reward Scheme
Last summer, SSE requested our help in sourcing innovative ideas for promotional products that would be used in order to support their SSE Summer of Reward Scheme. The campaign aimed at SSE employees to achieve an increase in employee sign up to SSE Reward. It offered a range of unique propositions, covering both sport and entertainment, for all to enjoy.
The client required a range of products that would have a fresh, fun, outdoorsy and summery feel and would be suitable for sports events and festivals and competitions. The goods had to be packed into different batches in order to be used for different events. The supply of 1,000 pre-packed goody bags was also a requirement.
Pro-Ad was called to source a variety of creative and innovative products that would uphold the SSE brand message and values that would achieve employee engagement and satisfy the client’s campaign goals.
Pro-Ad’s Account Manager for SSE visited the client in order to discuss their requirements in detail and get a clear understanding of what SSE would like to achieve with their campaign.
The SSE Account Manager worked together with Pro-Ad’s marketing/creative team in order to brainstorm a variety of product ideas that would fit the campaign brief. Sourcing through Pro-Ad’s worldwide network of suppliers, we chose products with an attention to detail so that the product features and quality were representative of the SSE brand image. Briefing our factories’ design teams, we created illustrations of how the selected products would look with the SSE branding in order to make it easier for the client to visualise them.
SSE loved the ideas suggested by Pro-Ad and chose a variety of innovative items for their campaign including sunglasses, fold-up frisbees and retro sweets candy bags.
Pro-Ad supplied the selected products with full fulfilment by preparing 1000 pre-packed goody bags.
- Merchandise was a huge success at the SSE Summer of Reward roadshows.
- Popularity of items grew through word of mouth and boxes of merchandise were requested up to director level, e.g. sunglasses being sent to leadership conferences
- The items captured the theme of the events and the activation.
- There was 75% uplift in internal SSE Reward sign ups during this quarter.
